Question
I accidentally brushed my leg against my bike's engine and the skin has turned white. It's not too painful, but I'm a little worried since it's a bit unusual. Is this something I should be concerned about, or will it heal on its own?

Minor burns from touching a bike engine can cause white discoloration. Follow these steps: Immediate Care 1. Run cool tap water over the affected area for 10-15 minutes to reduce temperature. 2. Apply a topical antibiotic ointment (e.g., Neosporin or Bacitracin). 3. Cover with a non-stick, sterile bandage. Aftercare 1. Keep the area clean and dry. 2. Apply ointment 2-3 times a day. 3. Monitor for signs of infection (redness, swelling, increased pain). 4. Avoid breaking blisters or scratchin
