I had a small accident and Im worried about tetanus. Is it super important to get the tetanus injection within 25 hours of the injury? What could happen if its a bit later, like after 24 hours?

I'm really anxious because I accidentally mixed red Harpic with some floor cleaning acid and then breathed in what tasted like a bitter breath. I found out that Harpic shouldn't be mixed with acid since it can release chlorine gas, but I only realized this after.
