For your chest pain related to mild MVP, Flavedon MR can be a suitable medication to try. It contains Trimetazidine and helps in improving blood flow to the heart muscle. The usual dosage is 35 mg twice daily. However, if you do not find relief with Flavedon MR, you can discuss with your doctor about alternative medications such as Ranolazine or Ivabradine which may be more effective for your chest pain associated with MVP.

I've been having some concerns after a medical camp at my office where my BP was checked. The first reading was 120180 and the second was 110170. The doctor suggested I take Lasix for a day and then start on Telma 40 mg for 10 days. I've just started the medication yesterday. I'm trying to understand the difference between the results of my echo and my CT scan regarding my heart condition. My echo shows mild concentric LVH with lvpwdd 12.2 and ivs d 12, and my LVEF is at 73. But my CT scan, which was a 128-slice MDCT of the heart, suggests normal LVH and a normal LV cavity with normal thickness, having a zero calcium score. Also, my TMT came out negative for any chest pain-related issues. I'm kind of confused here. Which result should I rely on when it comes to the left ventricular hypertrophy? Which is considered more accurate or should I be concerned about something else here?
