Question

I'm a bit worried about a situation with my left groin. It started itching a lot today and I noticed there's hard skin peeling off. I took some of it off but now there's this painful red patch where the skin was. My right groin seems totally fine though. Could this be something serious, or do you think it might clear up on its own?

I'm dealing with an open wound on my foot and have been using CIPLADINE Ointment to stop any bacterial infections and pus. I'm really concerned and curious if this ointment will also help the wound itself heal. Can you advise?
