Question
I'm dealing with some ringworms in my genital area, and it's causing terrible itching. To make it worse, I'm also on my period right now. The area is really itchy and has turned a reddish color. I'm really uncomfortable and not sure what to do about it. Can you help me out?

You can use an antifungal cream like Clotrimazole (Canesten) twice a day for 2-4 weeks. Additionally, you can take an oral antifungal medication like Fluconazole (Diflucan) 150mg as a single dose. Make sure to keep the area clean and dry, and avoid wearing tight clothing. If the symptoms persist or worsen, please follow up with your healthcare provider.
