I've been feeling this odd heat in one of my testicles for the last couple of days, almost like a mild inflammation, and it's starting to worry me. Could you let me know what's going on?

I'm having this pain on the left side of my shaft, and its really bothering me. I went to a urologist, and they mentioned the pain might be just my fear, but I can still feel it. Also, Ive got this varicocele in my left testicle. Could the pain be related to that? I'm just trying to figure out what's going on here.
