I'm having some issues with hilar prominence on the right side of my chest, and it's caused me to be considered unfit for a job in Oman. Hilar prominence on a chest X-ray could indicate an abnormality in the lymph nodes or other structures in the chest. The hilar region is where the lungs' arteries, veins, nerves, and bronchi enter and exit. Both hilar should be similar in size and density on a chest X-ray. If one hilum is larger and denser than the other, it could indicate an abnormality.so consult pulmonologist or thoracic surgeon
