Question
I'm noticing some kind of white powder on my head, and I'm pretty sure it's not dandruff. I've tried a bunch of remedies, but nothing seems to help. My scalp feels really itchy, especially when I go from a cool place to a warmer one. What could this be, and how can I make it better?

It sounds like you may be experiencing a fungal infection on your scalp, such as tinea capitis. I recommend using an antifungal shampoo containing ketoconazole. You can try using Nizoral shampoo twice a week for 4 weeks. Make sure to leave the shampoo on your scalp for 5 minutes before rinsing off. Additionally, you can take an oral antifungal medication like fluconazole, prescribed by a doctor, to help treat the infection from the inside. Make sure to follow the recommended dosage and duration of treatment.
