I'm really concerned about my lung health because I've been a smoker for several years. I'm wondering what kind of tests I should get to make sure everything is okay. Could you give me some advice on this?

I've been struggling with something, and I hope you can help. About three months ago, I had pneumonia, but I'm fully cured now. However, just after we had a wash in the house a couple of weeks ago, I've developed a cough that's just not letting go. It's been tough to get any sleep because of it.
