Question
I'm really worried about my friend's ear pain. She's been dealing with it for over a year, and every time we consulted a doctor, they just recommended cleaning. But last week, she was out of town and in a lot of pain, so she saw another doctor who found a small hole in her eardrum and suggested surgery. Im wondering if surgery is really necessary or if there are other options. Could you give some advice on this situation?
