I'm really worried about my tuberculosis treatment. It's been 3 months now and I've done the Gene Xpert test twice, which thankfully showed no MDR TB, just pulmonary tuberculosis. They've said no AFB is seen, but my fever still isn't stopping. I've been given amikacin and Ciso DS injections for 5 days, and I've already completed 4 days, but the fever is still there. Any idea how long it might take for the fever to go down?

I've been on treatment for TB in my lungs for about 80 days now, and while I've noticed I'm not coughing as much, Ive started getting yellow mucus in the mornings for the past 15 days. Sometimes it even has a bit of blood in it. Is this something to worry about? Will the coughing go away completely, and is it normal to see blood in the mucus? Ive noticed that after I have something really cold, I start coughing with a sort of wheezing sound. Sometimes I even bring up a tiny bit of phlegm, but by the next morning, the cough is completely gone. Its like it never happened. Is this something I should be concerned about?

I'm having a really hard time breathing normally. I used to smoke regularly, but I've quit that habit recently. Now, when I breathe, it feels like the muscles on the left side of my chest are stretching, and I can't seem to breathe properly. I've also stopped drinking alcohol, which I did before. One side of my nose seems to work okay, but the other side doesn't. Could this be related to quitting smoking or something else?
