I'm really worried and need some advice. I've been using minoxidil for about 8 months now, but I'm unsure how to safely stop it. My hair has become very thin and my scalp is quite visible. What could be causing these issues with my scalp?

I've been getting this weird mark that looks like a hickey on my neck. It's shown up three times in the exact same spot since last fall. I'm sweating a normal amount, and I've never experienced anything like this before. I've tried washing with water and soap, but even right after a shower, my neck feels sticky again within 5 to 10 minutes. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this?
