I've been dealing with a persistent cough for the past month. I went to see a doctor who's been in practice for 21 years, and after some blood tests, including one for eosinophilia, I was told it's chronic bronchitis. I've been dealing with a bad cough for about a week now and I already took azithral for 5 days once a day. The thing is, for the past 3 days, I've noticed that my morning sputum has streaks of blood in it, even though the cough has gotten a bit better but it's not totally gone. Today, I actually felt a little dizzy while working. My appetite seems pretty normal, it's even increased a bit compared to before. Also, I do smoke quite a bit. Could you advise me on what might be going on or what I should do?

I'm really worried about this dry cough and breathing trouble I've been having for about a month. It's more noticeable at night or in the morning and worsens when there's smoke, like from an agarbatti. I get some relief with Divya Swasari cough syrup, but it doesn't seem to completely go away even though I'm on antibiotics from my physician. Could you help me figure out what's going on or suggest what else I might try to finally get better?
