I've been dealing with some thick sputum lately, and it's got this slightly brown tint to it. I had a chest X-ray done, and it came back normal, but I'm still a bit worried because I had a cold about three weeks ago. Do you think I should be concerned about what's causing it, or is it just leftover from the cold?

I've just been diagnosed with mild intermittent asthma and my doctor prescribed the Foracort 200 brown inhaler. I've been using it for 5 days now, but I haven't really noticed any improvement. I came down with covid about 18 days ago and ended up in the hospital for 5 days. I was admitted 4 days after my symptoms started, mostly high fever, though my sp02 was normal. My CRP levels were at 6 when I was admitted but after 5 days of treatment, they dropped to 0.69 so they sent me home. I'm on some meds now, including predmet 8mg, but I stopped taking it since it messed with my blood sugar. My chest CT scan showed 30-40% lung involvement. Should I be worried about developing lung fibrosis in the future?
