Question

I've been dealing with these recurring pus-filled boils on my thighs and upper leg area. There's always this redness and swelling around them, and they keep coming back. It's getting really frustrating and I just want to know what's causing them and how I can prevent them. Any advice?

Recurring pus filled boils on the thighs and upper leg area with redness and swelling indicate a skin infection. This may be due to a bacteria called Staphylococcus aureus. To treat this condition, you can use an antibiotic ointment containing Mupirocin applied to the affected area three times a day. In addition, an oral antibiotic like Cephalexin 500mg four times a day for 7-10 days can also be prescribed to help clear the infection. Make sure to keep the area clean and dry, and avoid tight clothing to prevent further irritation.
