Question
I've been getting these red dots on the head of my penis after having sex or masturbating and it's starting to hurt when I try to pull back the foreskin, especially around the frenulum. The weird thing is, if I don't do anything for about 45 days, the dots go away. I went to a dermatologist who said it might be a fungal issue and gave me an antifungal cream, but it's been a month and nothing's changed. I've tested negative for HIV. Any idea what this could be and how I might treat it?

Since the anti-fungal cream prescribed by the dermatologist did not resolve the issue, it may be worth considering a different approach. I recommend trying a combination of antibiotic and steroid cream to address any possible bacterial or inflammatory component of the condition. You can apply a combination of Mupirocin ointment (2%) and Hydrocortisone cream (1%) twice daily on the affected area for 7-10 days. Additionally, practicing good hygiene, including gently washing the penis with warm water and mild soap, and ensuring proper drying of the area after bathing, can help prevent recurrence
