Question

I've been having this pain on both sides when I breathe deep, and sometimes even with normal breathing, for a long time now. Its been going on for about 10 years, especially on the left side of my rib. Breathing feels difficult now and then, but theres no wheezing, just some snoring. I dont feel overly sleepy during the day, but I've been having some ongoing gastric issues. Theres been no weight loss or loss of appetite. My chest was checked and cleared by a pulmonologist, and my echo test was all good according to the cardiologist. My blood pressure is normal too. Is there something else I should be looking into or considering?

Considering your symptoms and medical history, it is possible that you may be experiencing musculoskeletal pain or inflammation in the chest area. I recommend trying over-the-counter pain relievers such as paracetamol and skeletal muscle relaxants such as baclofen or chlorzoxazone
