Question

I've been having a rough time in the mornings. As soon as I wake up, I start sneezing non-stop. It's really uncomfortable because my eyes get watery, and my nose starts running. Plus, after sneezing, I always end up with a headache. Could this be allergies or something more serious? What should I do to feel better?

You may be experiencing symptoms of allergic rhinitis. I recommend taking an antihistamine such as Zyrtec (cetirizine) 10mg once daily to help with the sneezing, watery eyes, and nasal discharge. Additionally, you can use a nasal corticosteroid spray like Flonase (fluticasone) 50mcg in each nostril once daily to reduce inflammation in the nasal passages. If you also have a headache, you can take a pain reliever such as Tylenol (acetaminophen) 500mg as needed for relief.

I've been dealing with a persistent cough for months now, alongside sneezing and a runny nose. Initially, I thought it was just a regular cold, but a blood test revealed it's a dust allergy. I was prescribed histafree tablets, which worked for a while, but once I stopped, my symptoms came back. Its been 20 days, and while the sneezing has gotten better, the cough is still sticking around. Is continuing with the inhaler advisable? I'm trying to figure out the best way to tackle this. Any insights?

It seems to go away only when I take medication, but it keeps coming back, especially during winter and rainy seasons. Interestingly, I don't face this issue in summer.
