Question
I've been having this weird pain in my throat whenever I drink water, but interestingly, it doesn't hurt when I eat. Sometimes, there's a slight discomfort when I swallow saliva. I'm just wondering what could be causing this. Any ideas?

That could be mucosal congestion no need to worry take warm foods and stay hydrated,if its becoming worse visit ENT docotor for evaluation and appropriate management.
