Question
I've got a sore throat that I'm pretty sure is an infection, and my tonsils are kind of swollen too. I've been coughing a bit, but there's no fever. Should I be worried about this, or is there something I should be doing to feel better?

Consider consulting a primary care physician or an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist for a proper evaluation, as your symptoms suggest a possible viral or bacterial throat infection, and they may prescribe antibiotics if necessary, or recommend symptom-relieving measures such as gargling with salt water, using a humidifier, and taking over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
