Description

Tocotrienol, the active ingredient in Tocofil, has been labelled 'The Next Generation Vitamin E' since it is more effective than synthetic vitamin E. Tocofil capsule is used to treat fatty liver and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, which can lead to cirrhosis and liver failure if left untreated. Fatty liver (also known as hepatosteatosis) is a condition in which fat accumulates in the liver. The accumulation of fat in the liver causes non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, which causes inflammation and damage to liver cells.

Medicinal Benefits

  • Tocotrienols have been scientifically demonstrated to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-fibrotic properties. Tocofil has the highest concentration of tocotrienol.
  • Because of their unique chemical structure, tocotrienols have a better bio-distribution in the liver.
  • Tocotrienol has been shown in studies to reduce the progression of fatty liver disease to end-stage liver disease by preventing fatty acid oxidation in the liver (ESLD)
  • Tocotrienol has also been shown to help with insulin sensitivity and cholesterol reduction.
