Dr. Arjun Somireddy

Dr. Arjun Somireddy is an experienced patient centric Interventional Radiologist with an experience of over 6 years. He was previously a consultant Interventional Radiologist at AIG Hospitals. Dr. Somireddy is currently a consultant Interventional Radiologist at Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.

Dr. Arjun specialises in cutting edge Minimally invasive image guided procedures that are helping patients recover faster and without a scar. Using imaging and advanced Interventional devices patents are now able to avoid prolonged recovery periods and side effects often associated with traditional surgical alternatives. Dr. Arjun also specialises in the treatment of GI and lung bleeding, insertion of chemoport, and central dialysis catheters. His past experience includes a stint as a Visiting Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, and as an observer in MRI-guided interventions at the prestigious Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston. He has attended several international conferences and training sessions and has presented a research paper at the 2019 Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) annual conference in Austin, USA. He is also one of the few Indian physicians to have attended the annual training session on Liver Radioembolization (selective internal radiation delivery) in San Francisco in 2020. He constantly endeavours to better patient care through early adoption of new technological advances in the field of interventional radiology.
