I've been dealing with this really itchy scalp issue, and it's getting worse. Whenever I scratch my scalp, these tiny crystals or granules come out under my nails. There's also a plaque-like thing on my scalp, and because of it, my hair is falling out and I feel even more itchy. It's really frustrating. What could be causing this and what should I do?

To help with the itching and flaking, you can try using a medicated shampoo containing coal tar or salicylic acid. Make sure to leave the shampoo on for at least 5-10 minutes before rinsing off. Additionally, you can use a topical corticosteroid solution on the affected areas of your scalp. It is important to follow the instructions provided with these products and use them regularly for best results.
