Question

After my mother blood test results, we found that her C reactive protein is positive. Is this a major concern? Could you please suggest preventive measures?

A positive CRP indicates inflammation or infection. It is not a disease itself but a marker. Follow the doctor advice, and once the cause is treated, CRP usually returns to normal.

Dr. Vasanthasree Suggests...

Take a C-REACTIVE PROTEIN (CRP) - QUANTITATIVE Test or Take a COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT (CBC) Test
