Is laser surgery for piles a permanent fix or will the problem come back later I've heard mixed things and want to understand if it's worth going through the procedure

I've noticed this small bump under the skin near my anus recently. It's about the size of a pea and doesn't really seem discolored. I started feeling it a couple of days ago because it gets uncomfortable when I tighten around there. It doesn't hurt, just kind of feels off.
