A study was done to assess effects of maturbation- induces sexual arousal or orgasm in lymphocyte and cytokine production in healthy young persons. Study showed increase in absolute leukocytes particularly natular killer cells which are the first line defence for infection in the body. Hence, masturbation has many health benefits including activation of immune system.
