Exact cause is unknown but most appreciated hypothesis is either low insulin or insulin resistance due to genetic +/- environmental factors. Increased risk of Heart attack/ Angina/ Stroke, Nerve damage, Kidney damage, Gastroparesis (Nausea/ vomiting) Diarrhea or constipation, Eye damage - blindness, Increased risk of cataract and glaucoma, Foot damage/ amputations, Skin infections, Increased risk of Alzheimer's disease/ Depression/ Hearing impairment.

Hey, so I've got hypothyroidism and I'm on levothyroxine, taking 100mcg a day. I've been wondering about what might happen if I accidentally took 2 or 3 pills one day. Is there a risk of something really serious happening, like dying from taking too much? I get a bit anxious because sometimes I forget if I've already taken my dose for the day, and I've always been curious about just how dangerous it is like, how much would it take for it to be really harmful?

I'm struggling with some health issues and I'm not sure what to make of them. I've been dealing with wheezing and trouble breathing, along with a dry cough. At first, I tried treatment for GERD, but it didn't help. This has been happening on and off for about 4 years now. What worries me even more is that since last year I've noticed I'm urinating a lot more and it's really diluted, plus I'm feeling dehydrated. My plasma osmolality is 320. Are these signs related to something specific? My kidney, liver, and thyroid functions all checked out normal, and so did my CBC. What could be going on here?
