Question
I had relex smile surgery about 1.5 years ago and now I'm dealing with irregular astigmatism in my left eye causing ghosting vision. My right eye isn't fully 66 vision either, plus I have starbursts and glare both day and night. Could these issues affect my chances of appearing for SSC or army entrance exams

Yes, irregular astigmatism, especially with ghosting vision and glare, could negatively affect your chances of being accepted into the SSC or Army. While ReLEx SMILE surgery is generally safe and effective, post-operative issues like irregular astigmatism and visual distortions can impact your eligibility. Army and SSC entrance exams often have strict vision standards to ensure candidates can perform their duties effectively.
