I have a bimalleolar fracture in my lower right leg and my surgery is scheduled in two weeks is it safe to wait that long? Also, I've noticed bruising near my knee on my calf, which seems pretty far from the ankle fracture. Should I be worried about that?

I'm really worried about my mom. Her MRI results showed a diffuse disk bulge in L4 L5 and L5 S1, and there's also ligamentum flavum hypertrophy on the left side of L4 L5. They mentioned something about minimal to mild scoliosis in her lumbar spine and reduced heights. Could you help me understand what all of this means? Should I be really concerned about this?
