Question
I have a deviated septum and my ENT doctor recommended surgery after seeing my CT scan but said it's optional and up to me to decide. My main issues are one nostril always being blocked, post nasal drip causing cough, and tinnitus. Right now I manage with cetirizine but I'm not sure if I should go for surgery. What factors should I consider when deciding? My CT scan shows the deviation but I'm worried about recovery and whether it'll actually help my symptoms long-term.
