Question
I have a lump on my neck that isn't painful but an ultrasound showed it's a nodule near my thyroid gland. My doctor recommended surgery but I'm hesitant. What other options do I have or should I consider before going for surgery?

Thyroid nodules are very common, and they're usually not a cause for concern. However, it's still important to see your healthcare provider if you notice a lump on your thyroid (in the front of your neck). They may run some tests to make sure it's benign
