Question
I have this lump on my neck that I've noticed for about a month now. I've already done FNAC twice. The first result said it was lymphadenitis and the second one mentioned something about a reactive lymphoid. I'm really concerned about whether I might need surgery for this. Could you please advise?

Surgery is usually not required unless there are complications or the swelling does not improve with conservative treatment. I would recommend taking a course of antibiotics such as Amoxicillin. Additionally, you can take over-the-counter pain relievers like Acetaminophen (500mg, as needed) to help with any discomfort. Make sure to follow up with your doctor for further evaluation and management.
