Question
I just got my MRI report and it shows a bucket handle tear in the body and posterior horn of the medial meniscus, along with grade I chondromalacia patellae and moderate joint effusion with suprapatellar bursal fluid. I'm really worried do I need surgery for this or can it be managed with physiotherapy? What are my options here?

Bucket handle tear requires Arthroscopic meniscal repair, if tear is 2 months and less. Menisectomy if it's old.
