Question
I recently got a facial where the beautician used an O3 plus peel-off mask on my face. Now, I'm breaking out with acne. I'm curious if this mask is considered a mild or deep peel? The ingredients listed are Alginic acid, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Calcium sulphate, Magnesium carbonate, Lavender extract, Di sodium phosphate, Lavender oil, and some perfume. Could any of these be causing my skin to react like this? I'd appreciate any advice on what might be happening with my skin.

The O3 plus peel off mask is considered a mild peel. It contains ingredients like Alginic acid, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Calcium sulfate, magnesium carbonate, lavender extract, Di sodium phosphate, lavender oil, and perfume. To treat the acne developed after the facial, you can use a gentle cleanser containing Salicylic acid to help unclog pores and reduce inflammation. You can also apply a topical treatment containing Benzoyl Peroxide to target the acne directly. Remember to moisturize your skin with a non-comedogenic moisturizer to prevent dryness.
