Question

I recently got my hands waxed, and ever since, I've developed some major skin issues. My hands are now covered with pimples and rashes, and the beautician mentioned it could be a bacterial allergy. It's super itchy and painful with these red bumps ranging from tiny to quite big all over my hands. I'm really worried about it. What could be causing this, and what should I do to make it better?

It sounds like you may be experiencing an allergic reaction or contact dermatitis from the waxing procedure. To help with the itching, pain, and inflammation, you can try using an over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream to reduce the inflammation and itching. Additionally, you can take an oral antihistamine such as cetirizine to help with the itching. To prevent any bacterial infection, you can apply an over-the-counter antibiotic ointment like Neosporin on the affected area. Make sure to keep the area clean and dry to prevent further irritation. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it is important to consult with a dermatologist for further evaluation and management.
