I recently had an accident on June 23rd, and they put a plaster on my injury that same day. I'm trying to figure out how many days of bed rest I might need before I can start going back to the office. Can you give me some guidance on when it might be safe to return to work?

I've been dealing with a fracture in my fifth metatarsal since November 18th, and was told not to walk for 4 weeks. Now that I'm getting back on my feet, my leg isn't quite right. It's weaker and I have a medium level of pain around the fracture area. I had a new X-ray today, and while it looks a bit better, the fracture is still pretty noticeable. I can walk, but I'm only at about 60% of my former strength. Should I be concerned about not seeing more improvement at this point? What else could I do to heal better?

If I stick to proper physical therapy and medication, is there a chance it might recover on its own? I'm looking for some guidance here.
