Question
I swallowed warm food too quickly and now my esophagus is really hurting every time I cough or try to eat or drink something. Is this normal, and should I be worried? What can I do to make it stop hurting?

I understand your concern and frustration. The buzzing sound (tinnitus) and tragus pain after earwax removal could be due to: - Ear canal irritation - Middle ear muscle spasms - Temporary nerve sensitivity Consult your ENT doctor again to discuss: - Further examination and treatment - Tinnitus management options (e.g., sound therapy, counseling) - Pain relief measures (e.g., topical anesthetics, warm compresses) Remember, tinnitus can be managed, and symptoms may improve with time and proper care.
