I was recently diagnosed with an intersphincteric fistula tract and have surgery scheduled for next Friday. I'm a bit nervous and wondering what type of anesthesia is usually given during a fistulectomy procedure

It feels like it's right under the skin, maybe on the middle chest bone at the bottom. It's about an inch in diameter, soft, moving, and not painful. Im wondering if it could be a Lipoma since I have other similar lumps on my arms and thighs that haven't caused problems. I haven't been able to see a doctor in person yet because of Covid. Do you think this is likely a benign, noncancerous tumor? Any advice or suggestions would be really helpful.
