Question
I was recently diagnosed with an intersphincteric fistula tract and have surgery scheduled for next Friday. I'm a bit nervous and wondering what type of anesthesia is usually given during a fistulectomy procedure

Spinal anaesthesia will be given during surgery. You will feel a small pin-prick in your back. The surgery will take 20-30 minutes only. Don't worry!
