Question
I went to a general surgeon for constipation and noticed a small flesh near my anus. After a proctoscopy, she said I have grade 1 piles inside and a fissure outside. She suggested laser surgery for both as a permanent solution but I'm unsure if it's necessary since grade 1 piles can often be treated without surgery. Is laser surgery risky or should I consider other options first?
