Question

I'm a 25-year-old male and I'm really worried I might have hemorrhoids. I've been noticing a few symptoms lately and it's been quite unsettling for me. Is it possible to treat this with just medications and avoid surgery?

Hemorrhoids can often be managed and cured with medications and lifestyle changes, avoiding surgery; to alleviate symptoms, try stool softeners (psyllium), fiber supplements, topical creams (hydrocortisone, witch hazel), pain relievers (acetaminophen), and warm sitz baths; make lifestyle changes like increasing fiber intake, drinking plenty of water, exercising regularly, avoiding straining during bowel movements, and managing constipation;
