I'm 27 and dealing with severe male pattern baldness, and now I've got dandruff too. I'm wondering if I can use minoxidil 5% solution even though I have dandruff. I'm thinking of shaving my head and starting with a dandruff shampoo, and then maybe using minoxidil after a couple of weeks. But I'm worried about any severe side effects this solution might have on my body. Is it safe to use?
