Question

I'm a bit concerned about my high IgE level, which is around 900 right now. I heard it might be connected to some sort of food allergy. Can you explain what an overreactive immune system means in this context and how food becomes an allergen leading to histamine release? Is there something specific I should be doing or avoiding?

I'm really worried about my brother. He's been experiencing some alarming symptomshe feels like somethings grabbing his neck and has difficulty swallowing. This all started after he had some cake and cookies a couple of days ago. Initially, he had an allergy reaction on his lips and tongue followed by this chokelike sensation. Should we be concerned, and what kind of specialist would he need to see to get this checked out?

I'm having a tough time with my breathing because of something that's leaching into my throat, nose, and eyes, but especially my throat. It's causing me to cough really badly, sometimes to the point where I vomit. I even have a weird voice when I breathe. I've seen a few doctors, and they say it's allergies, but they haven't done any tests or analyses. The meds help a bit, but once I stop, the same problem comes back, or even gets worse. They've given me Motemac FX tablets, Furamist nasal spray, and some syrup, but nothing seems to be fixing the root cause. I'm confused about which doctor I should see to finally get to the bottom of this. Should I be asking for specific tests or analyses to find out exactly what's wrong with me? Any advice here?

I'm dealing with some breathing issues because of my recent in-vitro allergy test results. It turns out parthenium and aspergillus are pretty significant allergens for me. Do you have any advice on how I can relieve these symptoms? Is there anything specific I should be doing to manage this better?
