I'm a bit confused about this lingering dry cough I've had for about a month now, ever since I recovered from COVID. My chest X-ray came back normal, so I'm not sure what's causing it to hang around. Any ideas on why this might be happening?

I've been dealing with asthma and recently had a chest infection for which I was prescribed prednisone and antibiotics. After finishing the course, I got a sinus infection and tried to manage it without antibiotics, but now I'm back on them. My oxygen levels are at 93, and I've been relying on Ventolin and Symbicort, even increasing the Symbicort when needed. The doctor mentioned there were no signs of issues in my lungs, but I'm still feeling light-headed and short of breath. Should I be worried about this?

My dad's been on continuous medication, but he's still having a tough time breathing. He's got COPD, and he was diagnosed with it at the hospital about three months ago. We have oxygen support at home, but it doesn't seem to be helping much. I'm really worried about his condition.
