Question
I'm curious if having my uterus removed could lead to heart disease or heart failure down the road. My ovaries are still there and functioning normally. Do I need to worry about any heart-related issues because of this?

Heart disease and heart failure can still occur even after the removal of the uterus as long as the ovaries are functioning normally. The risk factors for heart disease such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and obesity can still contribute to heart issues. It is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise and a balanced diet. In case of any symptoms or concerns, medications like Aspirin and Statins can be prescribed to manage heart conditions.
