Question

I'm dealing with a bit of a dry cough for a while now, and it feels like it's from some throat irritation. It's been going on for about 50 days, and I'm also having slight trouble with my breathing. I went to see an ENT specialist, and he mentioned it's just acidity, but I haven't had any stomach burning at all. It feels more like something's really bothering my throat, and that's why the dry cough is there. What could be going on here? Can you help figure this out?
