Question

I'm dealing with a cough that's been on and off for about 2 months now. I've gotten tested for COVID, done an HRCT of my chest, and had a complete blood picture (CBP) doneall seem normal except for my white blood cell count, which is at 11500. I also had an X-ray. What should I do next?

Can you help me figure out my PFT report? I've been told I have allergic bronchitis. My x-ray and sputum culture look normal, and I used to smoke but quit. Right now, I'm mainly dealing with throat irritation, coughing, and nasal congestion, but no fever or trouble breathing. What can I do to keep these symptoms from coming back? I've been dealing with a covid infection and got my tests done. The fever's gone down, but now I'm struggling with a congested chest that makes it really hard to breathe. I'm in home isolation and following my doctor's treatment plan, but this chest congestion and cough are just making it so tough to breathe. Do you have any advice on how to ease this congestion?

I'm having some trouble with my breathingit feels heavy and like I have to really push to take a breath when I'm sitting down. But when I'm lying down, walking, or jogging, it doesn't bother me at all. I had a chest X-ray and a PFT a couple of months ago, and everything was normal. Do you think this could be related to my sitting posture, or is there something else going on? Would love some advice.
