I'm dealing with a really stubborn dry cough that's been going on for over a month now. I've already tried taking Azee and Levoday antibiotics and used Ascoryl and Benadryl dry cough syrups, but nothing seems to be working. Any idea what else I could try or what might be going on?

I've been coughing up blood for the past couple of nights, and it's got me really worried. It's not a lot, just about a teaspoon, and the blood is bright red with no mucus. I'm having this nagging minor chest pain that's been going on for about 6-7 months, mostly when I'm coughing or turning from side to side in bed. It doesn't bother me when I'm just sitting or walking around. About six months back, I saw an MD, and ECG results were normal. Later, I had an ear infection and visited an ENT who found my IgE level really high and put me on antibiotics and Montelukast tablets, which I finished a couple of months ago. But the chest pain is still there. I asked my doctor for more tests, and they suggested a CT chest scan. The report mentioned small ground glass opacities. I'm kinda worried now could this be something serious? Is my chest pain related to these findings, and what's the next step for treatment?

I've been on TB meds for a couple of months now and feel pretty good, but I'm still a bit worried. Before all this, I was dealing with a fever for about a month and lost a lot of weight. A chest CT showed those enlarged lymph nodes typical of TB, and my ESR was just a tad high. But after getting an EBUS Test and FNAC, all my reports came back negative, even the AFB culture. The doctor still thought it was best to start the TB treatment. Is it normal for all the tests to be negative even if you have TB?
