Question

I'm having a lot of discomfort in my throat whenever I eat or drink. It started about two days ago, and it feels like theres something blocking my throat on one side. But now, it's gotten worse and much more painful, and I feel it in three different areas. I looked at it in the mirror, and it seems like the hole at the base of my tongue has become narrower and more reddish. What could be causing this, and should I be worried?

I've had this throat infection for a few days now, and it's just not going away. It started with pain and soreness, and I took oflox200 for three days, which helped at first.
