I'm having some serious irritation in my throat. It feels really scratchy and I'm experiencing extreme pain. I've been taking Doxycycline along with Dolonex DT for two days now, but I haven't felt any improvement. What do you think I should do?

It's really scary because I struggle for a bit before I can finally breathe normally again. It's making me afraid that I might actually choke in my sleep. Also, I've got this allergy to cough. Could you help me understand what's going on and maybe what I can do about it?
