Question
I'm having some trouble with my shoulder when I throw a cricket ball. It actually hurts a lot, and for about five minutes, it feels like my hand isnt even connected to my body. I'm not sure whats going on. Could you give me some advice on what I should do about this?

The shoulder pain and temporary numbness or disconnection sensation in your hand after throwing a cricket ball may indicate a shoulder injury, such as a rotator cuff strain or shoulder impingement, or possible nerve compression; consider consulting a sports medicine specialist or physiotherapist for a proper evaluation, and in the meantime, apply the RICE principle: Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation to alleviate symptom
